Welcome to The Old Dunnings Mill
PUB IN EAST GRINSTEAD
Lisa and the team would like to welcome you to the Old Dunnings Mill, an extended 15th Century Pub straddling one of the Wealden tributaries of the River Medway.
Situated on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, the Mill owes its name to an old rotating water wheel – a replica now replaces the original which was demolished in the early 20th century. As a Harvey’s pub, you will find a beautifully kept seasonal selection of their award-winning beers which can be enjoyed in our large pub garden or in front of our roaring fireplace during the colder winter months.
View our menu for delicious light lunches and pub classics including Harvey’s Beer Battered Fish and Chips and our famous Old Mill Beef Burger. Or why not treat yourself to one of our indulgent home-made desserts. Locally sourced Sussex ingredients and our daily changing menu guarantees a fresh and exciting menu on every visit.
We are honoured to be the only pub in East Grinstead to be included in CAMRA’s 2020 Good Beer Guide, an annual publication that lists what is considered to be some of the best pubs in the United Kingdom.
We hope to see you soon, and please get in touch for enquiries or to make a booking.
